Good news for Windows Phone fans hoping for alternatives at Nokia Lumia smartphones, as Samsung seems to plan at least a few new handsets powered by Microsoft’s mobile platform.

Besides the ATIV SE that went on pre-order at Verizon Wireless last week, Samsung is expected to launch the Core ATIV, which should be its first handset to ship with Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box.

Today, information about another unannounced Samsung smartphone powered by Windows Phone has leaked online via SammyToday. A certain Samsung SM-W350F is now mentioned by the South Korean company in UAProf (User Agent Profile) documents.

The only detail on the phone’s specs sheet is the fact that it will sport a display that supports WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) resolution.

Another piece of information regarding the SM-W350F is the fact that it will be packed with Internet Explorer 11, which means that it might be powered by Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.

Apparently, Samsung is trying to cover all market segments for Windows Phone by releasing devices in various price ranges.

We expect that more details on Samsung’s new lineup of Windows Phone 8/8.1 smartphones will be available soon, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
