South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics is getting ready for the launch of some appealing new smartphones in the not-too-distant future, one of which is expected to sport a 720p screen.

The mobile phone was spotted in a User Agent Profile with model number Samsung SM-S780L attached to it, only a few days after receiving Wi-Fi certification.

Little is known about the specifications list of the new handset, except for the fact that it will sport Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac connectivity when launched, along with a 720 x 1280 pixels screen.

The handset sports W-CDMA and GSM connectivity, and PhoneArena suggests that it could be launched in South Korea on the network of LG U+.

However, it might arrive in other markets out there as well, with an affordable price tag attached, but with pretty decent specifications. Hopefully, it won’t be long before Samsung makes the phone official, so stay tuned for more on the matter.
