Samsung has been long rumored to plan on launching a bunch of Galaxy S5 models this year, and some more proof of that appears to have emerged online.

The info comes from Postel, the telecommunications authority in Indonesia, where a certain Samsung SM-G900H has been listed as awaiting the necessary approvals.

The phone’s model number falls perfectly in line with the previously rumored versions of Galaxy S5, namely SM-G900A, SM-G900F, and SM-G900S, and SammyToday suggests that we’re undoubtedly looking at a new flavor of the handset.

The Postel listing also unveils the fact that the Samsung SM-G900H is currently being manufactured in Vietnam, China and South Korea.

Unfortunately, no further details on what the new model would be aimed at has been provided, but chances are that Samsung is considering the release of region-specific variants of the upcoming flagship smartphone, and that this would be one of them.

We should also note that the South Korean vendor is said to plan on launching Galaxy S5 in Prime and Standard versions, with different processors and RAM packed inside, though with the same plastic body wrapped around both of them.

The handset is also said to pack a 5.2-inch touchscreen display, with the Prime version capable of delivering a 2k resolution, while the Standard variant expected to offer only a full HD one.

Both variants should include a 16-megapixel camera on the back, front camera for video calling, and a 2850mAh battery inside. Android KitKat with a new TouchWiz UI should be included in the mix as well.

No official confirmation on these details has been provided as of now, but it should not be too long before Samsung formally introduces the new device.

Based on the previous reports on the matter, we should expect a press event for the handset’s launch sometime in mid-March in London, with market availability supposedly set for late April. Stay tuned for more on this.
