Samsung has developed a new phone concept with an appealing futuristic technology. This can be seen not only in the elegant design, but also in the phone's specifications. They found the most appropriate name for it and so they called it Samsung SLIQ.

The name fully captures the stylish lines of this mobile phone. It's all black, with an amazing "advanced touch interface" that replaces the old-fashioned buttons with an LCD of impressive dimensions and capabilities. The first visual impact proves to be quite powerful, as this Samsung SLIQ is appealing due to its simple lines and shapes. It takes even further the candy bar concept, making it all high tech, through the touch screen idea.

Even more, it has only 10 mm in thickness, which makes it slim and a great competition with the large number of phone models that manage to compact high technology into thin cases. Going on the same mainstream, this Samsung SLIQ develops the concept introduced by the LG Prada and Apple iPhone as to replace standard keypad with a touch screen LCD.

Moreover, the SLIQ phone model features a wide range of capabilities that make it desirable and practical at the same time. It has a 2 megapixel camera which comes with Schneider-Kreuznach lens in order to make high quality pictures possible and also to have included the name of a highly regarded camera creator. Moreover, this mobile phone will also have a video player, as well as document view capability. No technical specifications have yet been revealed by Samsung, although it would have been good to know at least an estimate memory storage space.

The phone concept has been designed by Mike Serafin and will be launched under the Samsung brand name. A release date for this phone model has not even been discussed, as Samsung SLIQ is meant to stay in the concept phase for quite a long while.
