South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics was rumored not too long ago to plan bringing to the market some pretty appealing devices powered by Microsoft's new Windows Phone 7, and it seems that one of them has emerged once again, the Samsung SGH-i916.

Since the phone was spotted into the wild before, many might be aware of its looks already, but they do not know that it should make an appearance on the market in Canada.

A new image with the device, available courtesy of Engadget, shows it next to an iPhone 4, the same as it happened with an LG mobile phone not too long ago, which was caught on video next to Apple's iconic device.

Word is that Samsung SGH-i916 should make an appearance on the Canadian market on the airwaves of Rogers Wireless, though nothing on this seems to have been confirmed so far.

However, what appears to be known for sure is that the Windows Phone 7 device would sport an AMOLED touchscreen display.

It might not be the same 4-inch Super AMOLED display packed inside the phone maker's Galaxy S devices (though there are chances that it actually is), but it does look very appealing, that's for sure.

In the meantime, we should have a look at the aforementioned device from LG, which was caught on video next to the new iPhone model in an attempt to provide us with a comparison between Windows Phone 7 and Apple's iOS.

The video, which emerged over at Pocketnow, was meant to bring to light some of th emain design differences between Windows Phone 7 and iOS, something achieved through putting side by side the said two handsets.

Enthusiasts should have a look at the video embedded below, which offers all the necessary info on the screen layout of the two mobile platforms.
