Samsung SGH-i858 Has Been Approved by FCC

Samsung i858 has been approved by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). The slider is still unannounced, but it will operate in GSM network (900/1800/1900 Mhz) and will support
high-speed EDGE data.

The SGH-i858 features a touch-sensitive color QVGA display with 320 x 240 pixels and 262k colors); it supports Bluetooth, Infrared and USB connectivity for transfer between the phone and other devices. The internal memory can be expanded through microSD memory cards. Samsung SGH-i858 also supports e-mail, Instant Messengers, and Media Player. Samsung SGH-i858 features 2.0 megapixel auto-focus camera with Flash and dedicated key on the side of the device.

The Samsung SGH-i858 is still not officially announced and there are not many details revealed, apart from the ones provided by the FCC documents. There is no information on pricing and availability, but once scored FCC approval it may be expected to hit the US market soon.
