Samsung SGH-T409 is the second mobile phone model which has been released today with special consideration for T-Mobile's HotSpot @Home services. The cellular manages to pack several features which will make it appealing even for those who want a phone for regular use and not for this specific service.

This flip phone has several evolved capabilities which make it one of the most reliable handsets. It comes with Bluetooth wireless technology and Wi-Fi connectivity. This makes it excellent for supporting T-Mobile's HotSpot @Home service. This means that subscribers for this carrier will be able to place nationwide calls within the limits of their homes or from any other 8,500 T-Mobile HotSpots in the US free of charge. If they are in other areas, customers will be taxed the regular charges for this type of services.

"The t409 provides consumers with a stylish, Wi-Fi enabled phone, delivering great in-home coverage when packaged with T-Mobile HotSpot @Home", commented Peter Skarzynski, senior vice president at Samsung. For this reason, "Samsung is proud to have worked closely with T-Mobile to develop one of the first products to launch with T-Mobile HotSpot @Home", he further declared.

"We have worked closely with Samsung to ensure T-Mobile HotSpot @Home and the Samsung t409 work seamlessly together, giving customers the best experience possible when making and receiving voice calls at home over Wi-Fi, or on T-Mobile's nationwide wireless network," said Mike Selman, director of product marketing at T-Mobile USA.

Samsung SGH-T409 will also come with a 1.3 megapixel camera which will manage to provide captures at a reasonable quality. Users might not complain about this very much, as this phone is promoted as the perfect device to use for unlimited calls. This makes it, first of all, a mobile communication device and only secondly one capable of providing high quality entertainment services.
