Samsung SGH-E700 Changes Design and Name into SGH-S480

Samsung SGH-S480 is a new phone model from Samsung, although it is actually highly similar to an older model coming from this company. The main reason for this is actually that Samsung E700 has proved to be a high success throughout times.

The similarities between the two phone models are considerably high, which has chances of making the S480 model a favorite for those who used to appreciate the E700 one. This older model has been sold in more than 10 million units since it was released back in 2003.

The two phone models share several features, including the 1.3 megapixel camera which has been surpassed during the last four years by other handsets. For this reason, many of the features which have made Samsung E700 one of everybody's favorite are no longer as evolved as they used to, making this new update for the phone model only a mid-ranged cellular.

The design of the S480 phone model is highly similar to the older one, which is just as stylish as in the past. The 23 mm it has in thickness will fail to earn this clamshell a place among the slimmest such devices, even though in the past this was a special feature.

Samsung E700 has 9 MB of shared memory and MP3 file support, which will most probably be improved in this new model. Moreover, it packed the most common features, such as organizer and calculator, which have been for long stopped being worthy of any special consideration.

Samsung has not provided many specifications and images for the S480 phone model. Even more, the date when it will be available for purchase or the price that it will come at are yet unknown. Still, if it resembles the E700 model as much as it looks it will, it should have a fairly small price and be accessible for a wide market range.
