Samsung is preparing to launch their SGH-730i phone model, with support for NTT DoCoMo's i-Mode service in Europe. This comes recently after O2 announced that they would provide the i-Mode service for their subscribers.
There are some rumors regarding
Samsung SGH-730i and an Italian and French launch in the near
future, but other European
countries are also taken into consideration. The phone is one of the most evolved and stylish solutions for mobile communication.
Its design is smooth and strangely interesting. This
slider phone features some lines which turn out to be quite unusual and modern. The big navigation wheel features the same smooth and curved design as all sides of the Samsung SGH-730i. Moreover, it manages to perfectly hide all buttons by placing a straight and barely marked surface over them. The result is quite impressive, as the phone looks even more elegant and evolved.
The phone comes with a display screen capable of supporting 262k colors and a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. At only 14,8 mm in thickness, the slider phone looks great and highly elegant. Moreover, it is quite
comfortable to handle with the least effort and will surely look great in any hands.
The 2 megapixel camera manages to provide images of average quality, which might be just enough for many people. The internal memory of 80 MB provides a considerable amount of space to store all media content coming from the user. Just to be sure, there is also an additional microSD card slot included as to set aside this matter.
Other specifications also include connectivity through Bluetooth and USB, as most evolved devices do. The i-Mode service support is what actually makes this handset so
special when compared to others. This wireless Internet services proves to be particularly useful for mobile email and has seen a considerable development especially in Japan.
