South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics is reportedly planning the launch of a new large smartphone, and it might make it available for purchase on the network of Japanese wireless carrier KDDI, it seems.

The handset has been spotted on Zauba, the Indian import/export tracking website, where it features model number SCH-J003.

According to a recent article on juggly.cn, the phone’s model number suggests that it will indeed arrive on shelves in Japan at KDDI, though an official confirmation on the matter has yet to be provided.

Samsung SCH-J003 was spotted online last month as well, with a 5.5-inch touchscreen display, though no official details on it have been provided as of now.

A Samsung GT-I9405 also emerged on the website, supposedly a different flavor of the same device. Previous reports suggested that this could be the Galaxy Note 3 Neo.
