Samsung SCH-B570 - BANNED

Samsung has just announced
the banning of their piece of the art 8GB handset - SCH-B570.

The Korean company has actually banned its own employees from using SGH-B570 cellphones, because the music-playing phone's 8GB capacity „is more than enough to steal all confidential data about our company," said Ki-Tae Lee, Samsung Electronics' Telecommunications Network CEO.

Even though we made it, SCH-B570 with 8GB HDD is not allowed within the company".

Nothing out of the ordinary if we think that many companies are banning the use of different kinds of products like, gadgets, cameraphones or digital audio players, because of the potential threat of using these products for taking pictures or download confidential information. It seems that these days is very easy to plug in a device with enough space to store all the classified information of an entire corporation.

There is no word yet as to whether Lee is also banning Samsung's various thumbdrives, USB hard drives and audio players, which can also be used for industrial espionage.
