The time has come for another Samsung handset to be approved by the FCC.
The SCH-A990 is based on the SGH-Z710 model and continues the series of high-end phones released by Samsung.

Little is known about the handset, but like its predecessor, it will feature a twisting QVGA display,
a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and an internal antenna. Additionally, it will support memory expansion via a microSD card slot and Bluetooth connectivity. Also, it will benefit from the EV-DO (Evolution-Data Optimized) standard, which provides high data transfer speeds.

Samsung SCH-A990 will be available via Verizon Wireless.
Details about the price are still unknown.
