South Korean mobile phone maker Smasung has just officially unveiled another version of its Samsung Star handset, called Samsung S5230W Star WiFi. As its name suggests, the main feature is the inclusion of Wi0Fi connectivity in the package, and it is expected to come to the market as the Samsung S5233W.

The new mobile phone seems to already be available for purchase on a variety of retail sites, and its price tag has been set at around $250. The colors in which the Samsung Star WiFi comes to the market are black, silver, pink and white. As for the specifications list of the handset, they are the same as the original Samsung Star S5230. According to GSM Arena, the new phone is expected to come to the market in Africa and Asia.

In case you might not remember what the Star includes, we should mention a 3.0-inch touchscreen display that boasts a WQVGA resolution and support for 262K colors, a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper, haptic feed-back, Bluetooth, FM Radio with RDS, MP3 Player, full HTML browser, RSS Reader, samsung's TouchWiz UI and support for widgets. In addition, users will also enjoy Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g connectivity with the new Samsung S5230W Star.

In related news, we learn that there will be another version of Samsung Star S5230 available on the market, namely the Samsung Star Think Pink, or S5230 Limited Edition. The handset can be purchased by mobile phone users in Belgium, and €10 of the price of each sold unit will go to Think Pink Belgium, an entity fighting against breast cancer. The Think Pink variant of Star should become available on October 1, and should include the same specs and features as the original model. The only mark of Think Pink should be a pink ribbon on its back case. Available until December, the device is expected to retail at around 150 euros.
