Samsung has already released a variety of Galaxy S4 flavors, but it seems that the company is planning even more of them and that it might release one as soon as February next year.

According to a recent article on SamMobile, the mobile phone maker is currently planning the launch of Black Edition versions of its Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini handsets.

The Galaxy S4 mini Black Edition is also said to come with dual-SIM capabilities inside, though no further details on the two have been offered as of now.

However, we can safely assume that they will include the same hardware specifications as the already available models, with the new outer color being the only differentiator.

Galaxy S4 was launched with a 5-inch full HD Super AMOLED screen, as well as with a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor inside.

The handset features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, as well as a microSD memory card slot for storage expansion purposes.

Powered by a 2600 mAh battery, Galaxy S4 also sports a 13-megapixel camera on the back, with support for full HD video recording, as well as a front camera for making video calls.

The smaller Galaxy S4 mini, on the other hand, comes to the market with a 4.3-inch qHD display, while being powered by a lower 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor.

The device packs 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, as well as a 1900 mAh battery. The smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera on the back, with full HD video recording capabilities.

Considering the fact that Samsung is currently rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the available Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini models out there, the Black Edition variants should feature this platform iteration right from the start.

However, no official confirmation on either of these phones has been provided as of now, and we should wait for a formal announcement from Samsung to learn more info on them.
