5 Megapixel camera and WVGA screen to impress

Samsung has made this phone exclusively for Korea and, at this time, there are no hints whatsoever indicating a later release on other markets as well. With all that, many consider that it would probably catch on almost anywhere it was launched.

Codename Anycall, this model is anything but dull, and has plenty to show off: the 5 Megapixel autofocus camera, the 3-inch WVGA touchscreen and a DMB TV-tuner representing the main attractions. In addition, it includes the HSPA and microSD card support plus the 3G connectivity, while, by relying on Samsung's haptic user interface and browser, it shows users a good time on the Internet as well. There are, however, downsides to this device, like the lack of a Wi-Fi and the high price, but these are to be discussed further on.

As far as the design goes, it probably wasn't one of the top priorities when creating this phone, for it's got simple and not out-of-the-ordinary lines, thus, it does not manage to leave you wanting more after you take a glance at it. In any case, it's still an acceptable design and, for the more “traditional” users (if there are any to speak of), it might be just what they've been waiting for.

Returning to the price factor, the SPH-W6050 somehow surprises, and not in a nice way, for it will be set at minimum $600. This, of course, seems a bit much for a non Wi-Fi device, not to mention the other not too appealing aspects about it, such as is the case with the ordinary design.

Save from the things mentioned in that last paragraph, it would still be nice if it were to come out for other nations, to uncover its “secrets” here too. However, even if Anycall is not launched anywhere else, the loss will be theirs entirely because, by tomorrow, new appearances will get our attention.
