One week after it kicked off the rollout of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S4, Samsung published the kernel files for this upgrade.
Those who wish to tinker with the smartphone's source files can now do as they please, as Samsung has released both kernels for GT-I9500 and GT-I9505 models.
Obviously, this doesn't mean too much for consumers, but developers can download these when they wish to cook Android 4.3-based custom ROMs for either version of Samsung Galaxy S4. As usual, the South Korean handset maker uploaded the kernel source files on its Open Source Release Center
The bad news is that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S4 is not yet available in all countries, though Samsung has promised that the upgrade will reach all devices within the next few weeks.
