Samsung VS Apple Enlarge picture - Samsung VS Apple
Samsung has no intentions to settle its disagreements with Apple Inc. out of court, according to the Korean company’s mobile chief speaking to reporters in Seoul today.

Apple and Samsung have been embroiled in a legal spat keeping their attorneys well fed for almost two years now.

A recent disclosure by the Cupertino giant in a joint statement with Taiwan handset maker HTC suggested that Apple was ready to loosen up, as one of the main driving forces of the ongoing patent wars.

Whether or not this theory holds any truth, Samsung, for its part, won’t barge. According to the English version of Yonhap News, Samsung Electronics Co. doesn’t plan to smooth-talk Apple out of litigation.

“It may be true that HTC may have agreed to pay 300 billion won (US$276 million) to Apple, but we don't intend to (negotiate) at all,” said Shin Jong-kyun, the head of Samsung’s mobile and IT division.
