We reported last week on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet which is expected to be unveiled next month at Mobile World Congress 2013.

However, this will not be the only tablet launched by Samsung in the first half of the year. The folks over at SamMobile have been able to confirm with a Korean insider that Samsung plans to launch a new range of Galaxy Tab 3 tablets.

These are codenamed Santos and will be released as model GT-P3200, GT-P3210, GT-P5200 and GT-P5210. For the time being, we only know there will be two 7-inch variants and one 10.1-inch model, but we expect more details will emerge soon.

Another high-end Samsung GT-P8200 has been tipped as well for the first half or 2013, which is known as Roma. No word on the slate’s specs sheet, but it’s rumored to pack a 5-megapixel rear camera.

In the same piece of news, the Galaxy Note 8.0 is codenamed Kona, and just like the other rumored tablets, will be available in white color first. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
