It looks like Samsung has a few aces up its sleeve for this year’s Mobile World Congress trade fair. Rumors on the upcoming Galaxy S III have come and gone, but the handset maker has yet to confirm the launch of the smartphone during the trade fair.

Although initial rumors pointed to a possible Galaxy S III release at the MWC 2012, Samsung denied the information and said it would delay the smartphone’s launch for this summer.

However, due to heavy feedback received from media and customers alike, Samsung said it would review its decision so that Android fans could have their Galaxy S III launch event happening as early as next month.

[ADMARK=1Even if Samsung won’t be able to announce the Galaxy S III at MWC 2012, the Korean handset manufacturer plans to showcase some interesting Android devices at the trade fair.

Two Samsung tablets are now under the scope, which might be debuted next month in Barcelona, the GT-P5100 and GT-P3100.

The folks at Androinica have learned that both slates have just received their Wi-Fi certifications and are ready for an official announcement.

Unfortunately, information on the tablets’ specs sheets is scarce to say the least. Rumor has it that Samsung wants to release the world’s first tablet to feature a Retina display.

Samsung’s top tier slate should reportedly feature a Retina display with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution, as well as a powerful 2 Ghz quad-core processor.

The second tablet to make its entrance on the market next month, Samsung GT-P3100 should be a budget-friendly slate that would be able to compete with other cheap tablets that have yet to receive an Android 4.0 upgrade.

It is also worth mentioning that both tablets will be delivered with Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system on board.
