The handset will arrive at Sprint as soon as this Friday

Soon, wireless carrier Sprint will add a Windows Phone 8 smartphone coming from Samsung to its offering, namely the ATIV S Neo, which has just been fully detailed on its manufacturer’s website.

In fact, Sprint has also unveiled plans to make the handset available on its network starting with Friday, August 16.

Furthermore, users should know that the handset is set to feature a price tag of $150 (€113) attached to it with the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless operator, and after a $50 mail-in rebate.

"Samsung ATIV S Neo will be available in Sprint direct ship sales channels, including Sprint Stores, Business Sales, Web Sales and Telesales at 1-800-SPRINT1," the wireless carrier announced.

The Samsung ATIV S Neo will arrive on the market with a 4.8-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, and sports a 1.4GHz dual-core processor inside.

The mobile phone also sports 1GB of RAM, along 16GB of internal memory, paired with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage space.

The handset arrives on the market with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, as well as with a 1.9MP front camera for making video calls.

At the same time, it sports a 2000mAh battery inside (up to 15 hours of talk time, or up to 330 hours of standby time), 4G LTE connectivity, WiFi and Bluetooth, NFC, GPS receiver.

Samsung launched the new device with support for LTE: Band 25 (1900 MHz); CDMA 1x/EVDO Rev.A: 800/850/1900MHz; HSPA+/UMTS: 1900/2100MHz; GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz frequencies.

Running under Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system, the new handset also comes with a series of exclusive features, including Microsoft Office Mobile, ATIV Beam, MiniDiary, OneNote, Photo Editing capabilities, and more.
