Earlier today, the official Android 4.4.2 KitKat platform update started to arrive on Galaxy Note 3 smartphones in Poland, and a changelog for the update is also available for your viewing pleasure now.

The upgrade will bring along some appealing features on Samsung’s large handset, many of which have been spotted before, as the new build landed on other smartphones out there.

However, the PPT file showing the official Android 4.4.2 KitKat Galaxy Note 3 changelog (available courtesy of SamMobile) provides some more details on what owners of this device will receive as part of the new OS upgrade.

Among these enhancements we can count the fact that the camera shortcut is displayed on Lock Screen, the same as Music Album art while playing a music album.

Moreover, the new Android 4.4.2 platform version brings along support for more upgraded Emoji icons, and also allows users to select as the default messaging application either Messages or Hangouts.

Other changes that the new update brings along include:

- You are available to select the Home launcher among preloaded TouchWiz easy Home, TouchWiz basic Home, and Downloaded 3rd launcher more easily at Android OS 4.4.2 KitKat. - On Android OS 4.4.2 KitKat, location services are integrated and more detailed by new Location menu. - Android OS 4.4.2 KitKat supports Wireless Printing service. - Android OS 4.4.2 KitKat supports the more upgraded GMS apps like Photos, Drive. - Android OS 4.4.2 KitKat requires to upgrade the Gear Manager to the latest version 1.6 (for the Galaxy Gear).

Basically, the release notes unveil that Samsung chose to implement most of the enhancements that Google has announced for Android 4.4, which should make users rejoice.
