Samsung has begun officially announcing the devices it will have on display during the 2012 edition of the Consumer Electronics Show.

Even though CES hasn't started and won't start for another week, companies are eagerly setting the stage.

Among other things, this means that Samsung saw no reason to refrain from announcing the HT-E6730W and HT-E5500W Blu-ray 3D Home Theater Systems.

The company also saw no harm in speaking a little bit about the HW-E550 Surround Sound Bar with 3D Depth Sound.

“Consumers want to recreate the quality, immersive movie theater experience at home so that they may enjoy this at any time with family and friends,” said Sangchul Lee, senior vice president, Samsung Electronics.

“Samsung is already acknowledged as a leading manufacturer of home theater systems that offer pristine audio and fully immersive HD video. We've raised the bar even higher this year with improved immersive audio sounds and unmatched picture quality so that they now have even more choices to get the best entertainment experience across multiple devices.”

The HT-E6730W 7.1 Channel Blu-ray 3D Home Theater System is the first home theater system built with Samsung's proprietary vacuum tube amplifier technology.

Both vacuum tubes and a digital amplifier are combined into one unit, enabling a very high sound quality.

Meanwhile, the HW-E5500W 3D Blu-ray Home Theater System has its own advantage, namely support for wireless transmissions.

As for the HW-E550 Surround Sound Bar, it has two HDMI inputs and doesn't need separate video and audio cables (HDMI Audio Return Channel, ARC for short, is supported).

It communicates over the air via Bluetooth and can also receive data via Universal Serial Bus (USB).

The official announcement which Samsung has issued contains many specifications and extrapolations regarding what the newcomers can or cannot do.

Interested customers can also drop by Samsung's specially prepared CES microsite.
