Samsung's second version of Ultra Edition includes handsets that are slimmer, more elegant in design and powerful as functionality
than ever before.

Although the phones were revealed before, Samsung has now presented them at this year's CeBIT. The Ultra Edition II includes phones with slim and refined designs for each form factor.

Users that prefer slider phones will be thrilled to see the Ultra Edition 10.9 and the Ultra Edition 12.1, while candy bar fans can admire the Ultra Edition 9.6 and the Ultra Edition 5.9, which is at the moment the slimmest phone in the world.

Aside from good looks, each of the four handsets comes with advanced multimedia features such as a 3 megapixel camera, high-speed web connectivity and audio capabilities. The phones also adopt the Smart User Interface in order to provide maximum convenience and usability.

Honestly, it is quite exciting to keep an eye on Samsung and see how many times they are able to break all slimness records by unleashing handsets as slim as no one would have ever believed possible. It's going to be very interesting, however, to see how they are going to break their own 5.9mm record and still manage to fit in any decent features.

The Ultra Edition 5.9, Samsung's slimmest model so far packs a 3 megapixel camera, 1.93 inch screen with a 220 x 176 pixel resolution, support for MP3, AAC, eAAC+, WMA, MPEG4, H.263 file formats, document viewer, Bluetooth and USB 2.0 for connectivity and a 70 MB internal memory while measuring as little as 105.5 x 50 x 5.9 mm.
