Yesterday Samsung presented the Galaxy S 4 smartphone to the world and, besides sharing lots of details about the actual device, it also presented a unique accessory in the form of a controller that can be connected via Bluetooth to various Galaxy terminals and become a sort of portable gaming device similar to Nvidia's Project Shield.

Mobile devices are becoming extremely popular among gamers, especially Android-powered ones as they can be customized much easier and support different modifications.

Now, Samsung is apparently looking to embrace gaming on its Galaxy smartphones and has just revealed a special prototype that can connect to devices via Bluetooth and act as a full-fledged console controller.

As you can see in the photo above, via Engadget, the controller has a full set of console-like buttons, it's powered by two AAA batteries, and isn't actually attached to the smartphone, which just sits snugly in a special cradle.

As of yet, no other details were given by Samsung and it's unclear just when the controller gets released officially.
