In September last year, South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung launched the largest smartphone in the world, the Galaxy Note. Apparently, a sequel for the device is already in the works.

In fact, more than a single flavor of the successor has made an appearance online, through the WiFi certification forums.

Galaxy Note was launched featuring model number GT-N7000, while the sequels emerged as GT-N8010, GT-N8000 and GT-N8013. Clearly, they are variants of the same device, and should differ in capabilities or market availability.

The models were approved with support for WiFi a, b, g, and n connectivity inside. Chances are that Samsung will give more info on what these models are all about next month, during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Keep an eye on this space to learn more on the matter.
