South Korean vendor Samsung appears to be betting big on 4G LTE technology for its upcoming tablet PCs, and might include it inside its upcoming Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 slate as well.

Although the Android 4.2-based device was not made official as of now, a recent post on SamMobile claims that Samsung is indeed working on it, and that it might make it official in the near future.

Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 should hit the market in three different flavors, the news site claims. The list includes the SM-T310 Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 3G, SM-T311 Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Wi-Fi, and the SM-T315 Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 LTE (matching the three Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 flavors, it seems).

Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 will sport an 8-inch WXGA (1280 x 800 pixels) TFT display when launched, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and 1.3MP front camera.
