Samsung has registered quite the success with its Galaxy Note smartphone, and is expected to see even more of it with the newly launched Galaxy Note II, and it seems that more smartphones with large screens are coming from the South Korean handset vendor soon.

According to AsiaEconomy, the mobile phone maker is planning the release of a new 5-inch handset in its homeland market, one that would be different from the aforementioned Note series.

In fact, the new device is expected to arrive on shelves with an affordable price tag attached to it, though it would still pack a quad-core application processor inside, the same as Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II do.

The entry-level smartphone is said to be en-route to all three wireless carriers in the country, including SK Telecom, LG U +, and KT. Unfortunately, no official confirmation on this has been provided as of yet.
