Last week I told you Samsung had posted the kernel sources for the recently launched Galaxy NotePRO (Wi-Fi) which has barely arrived it to the UK.

Now it appears, the tech giant is applying the same treatment to its Galaxy TabPRO 10.1 tablet, which is expected to make an appearance in the US, February 13.

The kernel for both models of the tablet, Wi-Fi (SM-T520) and LTE (SM-T525), is now up for download on the Samsung Open Source Release Center, at 1.4GB.

On top of that, the kernel for the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 3G (SM-P901) and LTE (SM-P905) is also up for grabs at 1.4GB.

While kernel sources might not translate into much for regular users, they allow developers to hack into the device and build customs ROMs, which in the long run is advantageous for everybody.
