August seems to be a great month for mobile phone enthusiasts in the United States, and August 23 should be one day particularly great for them, as a recently leaked document from the retailer shows a nice list of handsets slated for release on that day. Among them, we can mention the Samsung Omnia 2, along with some only rumored devices, which should become available via different carriers in the country.

According to the leaked document that showed up on BGR, the Samsung Omnia 2, a Windows Mobile-powered handset, will come to Best Buy with Verizon's logo all over it. In addition, other handsets also bearing the carrier's brand will become available, including the Samsung Rogue and Samsung u450 Intensity. An LG Chocolate Touch can also be seen in the list, and we might witness the carrier releasing the recently unveiled LG BL40, or a device that resembles it greatly.

Other mobile phones headed for Best Buy on August 23 include the Samsung Gravity 2, which is on its way towards T-Mobile, it seems, or the Samsung Solstice and the LG Xenon in red, both AT&T-bound. In addition, a BlackBerry Tour for Sprint is also there, marked with a “new shipment” tag. The recently launched Reclaim is present as well, and should become available for purchase on August 16. An M330 device is also showed on top of the list, getting ready for release sometime on September 8, though it seems that there are no exact details on what device this might actually be.

Hopefully, the leaked document is the real deal, and these handsets will become available on August 23, as showed here. Indeed, some of them look more attractive than the rest, such as the Samsung Omnia 2, or the LG Chocolate Touch, yet others could also prove to be nice additions. As the supposed launch date is quite close, we should hear more about these phones in the near future.
