It is just a pre-production model though, with no release date in sight

Samsung should have a new camera up for sale sooner or later, but the report that exposed its existence to the world did not have all the information one would wish for.

Long story short, Samsung is working on the NX20 camera, equipped with a 20.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor.

It also has a sensitivity support from ISO 100 to ISO 12,800 and iFunction 2.0 lens support.

What's more, the company designed it with a 3-inch VGA AMOLED display, to show previews of whatever photos or full HD videos owners shoot and record, respectively.

Speaking of which, photos can be snapped at 8fps.

Furthermore, the existence of Wi-Fi wireless support will allow not just for simple file transfers, but also for image uploading to social networks or backup sites. Even video streaming is possible.

Alas, the NX20 is only in pre-production stage, which means that no price or availability date is known yet.
