Samsung N102S Netbook Listed by UK Retailer, Possibly with Atom Cedar Trail

Intel may have delayed the launch of Cedar Trail, but this hasn’t stopped retailers from adding for pre-order netbooks based on these Atom CPUs, such as this Samsung N102S listed by an UK online store.

The N102S includes pretty much all the feature that we are used to seeing in netbooks like 1GB of system memory, a 320GB hard drive and 10.1-inch low-res screen, but it also sports a yet unannounced Atom N2100 CPU.

Judging by the name, this is most probably a low-power version of Cedar Trail, but we can’t be completely sure at this point in time.

Pricing is set at £240 ($370 or 280 EUR), but availability is still uncertain.

Engagdet actually called the retailer to ask for more details and they were told to ignore the December 2nd date posted on the site, so I would say that you shouldn’t expect to get it to your door until January of next year.
