The company may announce the recently launched Galaxy Fame instead

Samsung India has started to send invitations to a launch event for February 14. The invite mysteriously says that “Now your world is open,” but no additional details are offered.

However, the invitation does show the svelte silhouette of a smartphone which strongly resembles the Galaxy S III mini and the Galaxy Fame that was recently announced.

Unfortunately, we can’t say for sure which one will be unveiled on Valentine’s Day, but BGR India suggests that it might be the former.

Samsung Galaxy S III mini packs a 4.0-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

The phone is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz and embeds 1GB of RAM and 8/16GB of internal memory. More info on Galaxy S III mini’s specs is available here.
