The Galaxy Camera will soon stop being the only Android camera that Samsung has on sale. For that matter, it will soon stop being the only Galaxy camera as well.

Samsung hasn't actually made any statements to this effect.

Instead, if the Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) is to be believed, Samsung has trademarked the “Galaxy NX” term.

We suspect the final product bearing the name will be a mix between the Galaxy Camera and the NX1100 mirrorless camera that we have only just finished writing about.

That is to say a smartphone-shaped camera, but thicker than a phone and equipped with a nice and huge lens.

The trademark was filed at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO for short) with Goods and Services marked as Digital cameras.
