Samsung Memoir, the mobile phone that was rumored to be the American Version of the already-known Pixon, is reported to be heading to T-Mobile USA for a February 25 launch. While previously-spotted photos of the handset were somehow too blurry for us to take a good look at the new Samsung Memoir, this time we can have a full view of the device.

As many of you might already know, we're talking here an eight-megapixel camera phone coming to the United States users, and its snapper is reported to include auto focus and xenon flash, as well as 16x digital zoom. Besides this, the Samsung Memoir sports a wide touchscreen, which is complemented by the company's TouchWiz interface.

A document that leaked onto TmoNews also shows a possible retail price the handset might feature once it is released, namely $299.99 after a mail-in rebate and upon inking a two-year agreement with the mobile phone operator.

There are not too many details on the specifications list of the Samsung Memoir unveiled at the moment, yet we hope that more info will surface considering the fact that the launch date is approaching. One thing is worth mentioning though, even if the information on the leaked document hasn't been verified yet, namely the fact that the phone's launch seems to have been pushed back one week from the originally-reported release date.

The Samsung Memoir will hit the US market as the first 8-megapixel camera phone to ever be available in the area. This might be a great selling point for the device, although its price could seem a little too leveraged even for a high-end 8-megapixel touchscreen handset. Nevertheless, we hope that more info on the device as well as a few non-blurry high-res photos will surface in the near future, so we can at least make an idea of what Samsung and T-Mobile have in store for us.
