South Korean company Samsung plans to launch a different color option for its Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and 10.1 tablets.

According to SamMobile, the handset maker will launch red-themed versions of its Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and 10.1 slates sometime in 2013.

Word is that these devices will arrive just before Valentine’s Day (February 14), though we’re still waiting for an official statement.

Officially dubbed Garnet Red, the new color is also available for Samsung Galaxy S III and Galaxy Ace II X. However, it remains to be seen if the new color scheme for Samsung’s tablets will be available worldwide.

Keep in mind that there won’t be any specs changes in comparison with the current versions, though the red-themed Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and 10.1 might arrive with newer software.
