Samsung has recently unveiled a new device meant for the Korean market, the Samsung Haptic-PoP SCH-W750 touchscreen phone. The most interesting thing about the new device is not the specification list it comes with, but the fact that the mobile phone maker included 5 different battery covers in the box.

The idea of allowing users to personalize their devices by changing the covers is not a new one. Nokia came up with this first, and it soon proved to be a rather successful one. In time, the exchangeable covers started to lose popularity, yet Samsung has come up with a device that is meant to revive the idea.

Besides the 5 battery covers mentioned above to come with the Samsung Haptic-PoP SCH-W750 handset, there are 11 more color schemes available for purchase in stores. At the same time, we should also notice that the Korean mobile phone maker also included each and every one of the battery covers with its own set of wallpapers, widgets and ringtones.

What the new Samsung W750 Haptic PoP is able to provide users with is a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, as well as a 3-megapixel photo snapper, a T-DMB receiver and a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space. The new device is said to cost around $380.

In related news, we learn that another Samsung handset, SPH-M810, has just received FCC approval. The new device could be the Samsung Instinct Mini that is expected to come to Sprint in the near future. The device should come with the same specs as Instinct, while also including Push-to-Talk (PTT) capabilities. Previously, the new Instinct Mini was rumored to come to the carrier in mid March, while sporting a $129 price tag with a two-year contract agreement. No official details are available at the moment.
