Since Fall has just started and IFA is in full bloom, though not necessarily because of that, Samsung has come forth and introduced its new collection of mobile computers, which includes the RF510, RF710.

The The RF510 and RF710 “emphasize extreme performance, while maintaining a sleek and refined style.”

They use Core i5 or Core i7 CPUs, the exact options being the Core i7-720QM and the Core i5-460M (only on the RF510).

The two RF laptops also come with two HDD bays, allowing for two drives of up to 500 GB (RF510) and 640 GB (RF510/RF710) to be used at once, enabling over 1TB of total storage.

They also have SuperBright LED displays with native resolutions of 1,600 x 900 (17.3-inch RF710) and 1,366 x 768 (15.6-inch RF510).

In terms of graphics, those displays will have the full might of the NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M, with 1GB of memory, to fully utilize them.

What's more, the devices feature USB 3.0, 4GB of RAM and other assets, such as island-style keyboards with number pads.

Other specifications include Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and a Blu-ray optical drive.

“Samsung continues to evolve our mobile PC line-up creating a sleeker, more stylish and technologically superior product perfect for professionals, students, or multimedia-focused consumers,” said Todd Bouman, director of product marketing at Samsung Enterprise Business Division.

“More importantly, the technological innovations [...] underscore Samsung’s position as a leader in mobile computing, offering consumers the performance they’ve come to expect in an aesthetically pleasing package,” he added.

For extra appeal, Samsung threw in True2Sound SRS Premium Sound and the Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

Finally, both notebooks employ Lithium Ion batteries that can keep the entire configurations operational for up to 4.5 hours.

The RF510 has a starting price of $939, whereas the RF710 sells for at least $1,099.
