Samsung Electronics America, part of the Samsung Electronics Corporation, which is known as the world's leader on the market of professional LCD products, has just announced that it will complete its line of display products, with four new digital photo frames.

From September 1st to November 1st, Samsung will be launching the SPF-85H and the WiFi enabled SPF-85V, with an 8-inch screen, the SPF-105P and the WiFi enabled SPF-105V, with a 10-inch screen. The prices of these digital photo frames will range between $130 and $290.

Wrapped in a glossy black bezel, rounded at the edges, these Samsung digital photo frames will bring elegance into your home, as they are designed to fit into various environments and blend in with the décor. Each of the four models features the Samsung exclusive Starlight Touch Controls, integrating the On Screen Display (OSD) buttons into the bezel. This means that the capacitive touch buttons will disappear from the bezel after 10 seconds of inactivity. Moreover, they sport the UbiSync technology, allowing you to use them as secondary monitors for your laptop or desktop as well.

"Samsung has identified a need in the market for quality photo frames that offer improved front of screen performance, quality design and enhanced versatility," said Jeff Muto, Samsung's Display Product manager. "Using Samsung’s UbiSync feature is as simple as plugging the photo frame into your USB port. Then you can have a secondary monitor for your media player, tool palettes or whatever your needs may be. With other built-in features like WiFi for easy photo sharing and auto-resize functionality which enhances ease of use, these new digital photo frames push the versatility envelope," he added.

Even though all four digital photo frames impress through their great design and enthralling specs, the SPF-85V and the SPF-105V are the ones that stand out from the group, as they are in fact Internet photo frames, allowing for wireless connectivity via 802.11b/g. They support easy photo sharing, with Windows Live Spaces and they also come with the InfoLink feature, a Samsung exclusive, which makes them able to receive RSS feeds. Great specs and gorgeous design under the same "roof"; only Samsung could have pulled that off!
