Samsung's new luxury mobile phone, Samsung Ego S9402, has not been designed to feature a large number of crystals, but it comes instead with a Liquid Metal body that is meant to enhance its strength and flexibility, as well as its resistance to scratching. Moreover, this rather exotic feature seems to add something to the overall feel of the handset, which appears to be pretty attractive.

According to the latest news on the Web, Samsung Ego S9402 will hit the market in Russia, and the Euroset Company in the country will be the first one to have it on sale. The phone comes as a dual SIM device that includes a Bang & Olufsen sound processor. The price tag of the device has been set at 8,990 Russian rubles, translating into about $1,570, which seems to be rather leveraged, given the current worldwide economic downturn. However, the company might be optimistic about its success if it is launching it now.

The Liquid Metal touch of the case resembles titanium from a certain point of view, and it fits the body of the Samsung Ego S9402 well enough. The dual SIM support the handset comes with is another important feature. Rumors prior to the launch would place the Ego S9402 in the DuoS series of phones, given the fact that it has support for two SIM cards.

Other features of the handset include a 2-inch QVGA AMOLED display which is able to deliver a 240 x 320 resolution, and a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and people recognition. In addition, the new Samsung Ego S9402 is reported to sport GSM / GPRS / EDGE support, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, FM-radio with RDS, 1 GB of internal memory, as well as a slot for microSD memory cards.

Samsung did not release a full feature list for its Ego S9402, but it is reported to have stated that each copy of the phone was made by hand.
