South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics has launched two new color flavors of its Galaxy Grand duos smartphone in India, namely Brown and Red.

Previously, the device was up for grabs in the country only in White, with a Blue version also made available for purchase not long ago.

According to AndroidOS, Samsung has sent out emails informing users on the availability of the new color options for the smartphone and has already added them to its online store.

The handset can be seen on this page on the company’s Indian e-store with a price tag of Rs. 20,800 ($341 / €256) attached to it and with two flip covers worth Rs. 2,798 ($46 / €34) included in the package.

Packing a large 5-inch WVGA touchscreen display, the Samsung Galaxy Grand duos is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, paired with 1GB of RAM.

“GALAXY GRAND offers maximum screen space on a slim, fully loaded smartphone for an endlessly entertaining mobile experience. Enjoy your videos, games and web time on a large, vivid display while holding it in one hand,” Samsung notes.

The specification list of the new device also includes 8GB of internal memory, along with microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back with HD video recording capabilities, and a 2MP front camera for making video calls.

Furthermore, the handset sports a 2100 mAh battery, dual-SIM capabilities, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity options, GPS receiver, and Google’s Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top.

“Jelly Bean has fast, fluid and smooth graphics along with a new Google Search experience featuring Google Now, which brings you just the right information, before you ask. With multi Window, you can enjoy your videos, browse webpages and create memos all at once on a single screen,” Samsung explains.
