Samsung La Fleur Collection Launched in Russia
Samsung's La Fleur collection has just arrived in Russia with the launch of four new mobile phones labeled with flower patterns. La Fleur collection is Samsung's lineup of handsets that targets women, by adding a touch of style to some of its phones that have been on the market for a while.In this regard, the manufacturer expanded its La Fleur collection with two Bada smartphones (Wave 525 and Wave 723) and two feature-phones (C3530 and E2530).
The La Fleur versions of the four phones announced are the same as the original handsets in terms of hardware, but they've been stamped with a flowery pattern.
The Samsung Wave 723 La Fleur runs on the Bada mobile platform and comes with a 3.2-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 262K colors and 400 x 240 pixels resolution.
The quad-band GSM smartphone boasts a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, smile detection, geo-tagging and camcorder (QVGA@15fps).
Other key features of the phone include: HSDPA 3.6 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, 90 MB user memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 16GB), Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP support and built-in GPS receiver.
The device is expected to be available in February for 12,990 rubles (about $435).
The second La Fleur Bada smartphone, Samsung Wave 525 comes with a 3.2-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 262K colors and 240 x 400 pixel resolution. It sports a 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP support, Stereo FM radio with RDS, 90 MB user memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 16GB) and GPS with A-GPS support.
Samsung Wave 525 La Fleur is expected to be released in February for 8,990 rubles (about $300).
The Samsung La Fleur C3530 is a candybar feature-phone with a 2.2-inch TFT screen with 262K colors support and 240 x 320 pixels resolution.
The handset sports a 3-megapixel camera, 50 MB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 8GB), Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support, Stereo FM radio with RDS, as well as FM recording.
The C3530 should be out on the market in February for 5,990 rubles (about $200).
The Samsung La Fleur E2530 is a clamshell feature-phone that comes with a small 2-inch TFT display with 65K colors support, 240 x 320 pixels resolution, as well as a secondary 1.07-inch CSTN external display.
Other key features of the phone include: a 1.3-megapixel camera, 10 MB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 8GB), Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support, FM radio, as well as FM recording.
The handset will be available in February for 3,990 rubles (about $135).
