The Linux Foundation has announced that Samsung Electronics, has joined the organization as a Platinum member.
is a well-known electronics company that uses Linux-based products in a lot of its hardware. By joining The Linux Foundation, Samsung will help the Linux community with innovations and ideas that everyone will be able to benefit from.

said Jim Zemlin, executive director at The Linux Foundation.
According to The Linux Foundation, the Platinum level is the highest level of membership. Samsung Electronics joins a group of companies that have exhibited tremendous leadership and support for Linux and, as a Platinum member, will have a seat on The Linux Foundation’s Board of Directors.
