Samsung continues the line of shiny and stylish handsets with the release of a new such device that stands more as an accessory rather than a useful product. Samsung J618 is more of a middle ranged mobile phone, but one that has just about the same chances of being successful as all other sliders coming from this
producer.

The phone is just another fish in the pond, as it just follows the fashionable pattern that Samsung has gotten us used to seeing up to now. The slider form factor is the most frequently used solution for adding some style in one easy step, with little or no effort coming from the producer. They then add some shine with a silvery metal case and make it look like a valuable product. Last but not least, the company compacted it all in a slim and easy to handle case that would look great in any hands, as small as they might be.

It sounds like Samsung J618 follows the producer's recipe for looking great and having all chances of attracting the interest of some people interested in fashion. There's nothing more than good looks that this mobile phone has to offer. Its specification list proves to be quite unimpressive. In fact, there are some other evolved handsets that could come at a close price range, but with more impressive performances.

The phone comes equipped with a 2-megapixel camera that will manage to take only average quality captures. There is also GPRS connectivity, although there is no information on Bluetooth or 3G performances, some features that many people might be interested in. Samsung J618 takes care of the entertainment issue by managing to support MP3 and AAC media files.

The handset has been recently presented in Amsterdam, although the producer has yet to officially announce it. Samsung J618 should be available in the future for the price of EUR 235.
