14 DAY TRIAL // Sprint and Samsung have officially announced that the latter's new Intercept smartphone will be available through the former's sales channels starting with 11th July. The handset adds to the ever growing Android-based Samsung portfolio. Fans of the brand will be able to purchase Samsung Intercept for as low as $99.99 (excluding taxes) after a $100 mail-in rebate with a two-year service agreement and a new line activation or eligible upgrade on an Everything Plan with data.

This is a great device for those who use their wireless device to manage a business or socialize with family and friends."
The smartphone is loaded with Android 2.1 OS and features a 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, built-in GPS receiver, microSD card slot (up to 32GB), full slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a 3.2-inch touch-screen display. It comes with all Google's package, pre-installed Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, as well as the YouTube client.
It is compatible with Sprint's 3G network (EVDO-Rev. 0) and requires its industry-leading Everything Data plans with Any Mobile, Anytime including unlimited Web, texting and calling to and from every mobile in America while on the Sprint network.
