The handset has leaked into the wild recently, courtesy of some screenshots that show both the device and its specification list. In addition, the phone seems to be getting ready for a release into the market, as it should land on the carrier's airwaves as soon as July 15.

The new Samsung Highlight, the reports say, should hit the shelves with a touchscreen display, as well as a 3.1-megapixel photo snapper with auto-focus and video recording capabilities. In addition, the device should also feature Bluetooth connectivity, GPS receiver, a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space, USB 2.0 port, speakerphone, as well as support for myFaves and Web2Go.

Moreover, the mobile phone is also expected to include support for Instant Messaging and mobile email, music and video players, text messaging, picture messaging and video messaging capabilities, PC syncing functionality, support for voice notes, and more.
