Samsung Has Launched the Super Bright Phone Display

Samsung's employees prove once again that if someone has to come with an idea that will be them. They are the ones that have developed a new kind of LED based phone display that is 33 percent brighter than the traditional LCD phone screens with the same power consumption.

Their new display offers a screen of 360cdpm�, a whole lot more than the 270cdpm� offered by a standard blue LED.

The main difference comes from the capacity of the new LED to deliver 1.7 cd which, when compared to the 1.2 cd of the blue LED, explains pretty much itself and also the huge difference of the display quality.


The new technology has been designed by Samsung to work with the side mounted screen backlights and it is being expected to appear in new mobile handsets launched on the market some time during the next year.
