Samsung Gusto has just made its way on the market through Verizon Wireless carrier. The phone is available online starting today, but will reach Verizon Wireless Communications Stores in the coming weeks

Samsung Gusto is an entry-level clamshell featurephone that doesn't come up with anything new.

The Gusto features a 2-inch internal display and a 1-inch outer display, multiple messaging options, Dynamic Voice Enhancement technology with noise suppression, mobile Web browser and Bluetooth technology for hands-free communication.

It also sports a VGA camera with Night Shot function and dedicated camera key, 1xRTT connectivity, GPS/E911, and 2.5mm headset Jack.

The mobile phone is only available in Metallic Gray with no hope of getting more choices in the near future, unless it will sell very good, which I doubt.

Other key features of the Gusto include: Driving Mode, changes the handset volume automatically to high, overrides vibrate settings, and reads contact information aloud when a call or message is received; Fake Call feature, lets customers set up a pseudo call with a timer to manage social situations; Media Center-capable; Preloaded with Bing Search; VZ Navigator capable.

Nothing else to say about this low-budget device, just that you can get it for free if you order it online starting today.

Samsung Gusto is a simple clamshell that doesn't stand out from the crowd, thus the name seem a little bit ironic. It could be a valid choice for those looking for a real bargain.

The Samsung Gusto is available online today for free after an online discount with a new two-year customer agreement. It will also be available in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores in the coming weeks for $19.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

Customers will receive the rebate in the form of a debit card. Upon receipt, customers may use the card as cash anywhere debit cards are accepted.
