The new feat might be part of the final Samsung Gear Fit

Yesterday I told you that early adopters of the new Samsung Gear 2 Neo smartwatch have noticed a little incongruity with the device. Apparently, the wearable can’t connect to one of the devices listed as being compatible with the smartwatch, namely the Galaxy Note 3.

Now, it appears the Gear Fit fitness band hasn't been a stranger to limitations, either. SamMobile reports, some users have been complaining information on the display is only shown horizontally, without the option for vertical orientation being present.

Anyway, Samsung took notice of the complaint quite fast and apparently already updated the fitness tracker with a fix that will allow the Gear Fit to vertically display information.

The availability of this new feature has been confirmed by a few photographs taken in a Samsung official store in South Korea, showing the Gear Fit in a vertical position. Sadly, there’s no information on when the update will roll out in other territories.

But since the Gear Fit along with the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo will globally go on sale starting April 11, we can expect the update to make its appearance after the date expires.
