Samsung launched the Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 tablet back at MWC 2014 and while the Wi-Fi model has been widely made available for customers to purchase, it seems the LTE versions aren’t lagging much behind.

TK Tech News reports spotting the 8.4-inch tablet that comes with an amazing display in a T-Mobile environment. And what’s more, the tablet is shown as having “Voicemail.” Hence it will be capable of placing phone-calls, as well. I bet lots of you weren’t expecting that.

Sadly, the report doesn’t say when the Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 with calling capabilities will hit the shelves in T-Mobile stores, but this information will probably be made available soon enough.

The source also notes this might as well be the smaller AMOLED tablet, Samsung is scheduled to launch in a few weeks, the Galaxy Tab S.

Anyway, since the Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 has already been out for a while now, it could make more sense the LTE version is just arriving now.

The slate arrives with an 8.4-inch screen that boasts a beautiful 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and runs Android 4.4. KitKat out of the box. The Tab draws life from Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.3GHz quad-core CPU fitted with 2GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.
