A lot of people craving a stock Android experience have been known to turn to CyanogenMod in order to fulfill their desires.

And as of this week, owners of the new Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 will be happy to know that CyanogenMod is now officially supporting the device.

So those of you who aren't big fans of Samsung’s Touchwiz UI which arrives out of the box and would like to navigate to another route which involves less clutter now have the opportunity to do so.

The Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 is the smallest member of the family and also the first to gain CyanogenMod support, but the others are probably going to receive the same treatment soon, as well.

For those who are trying their hand out for the first time at a nightly ROM, some bugs are to be expected, but since these are nightly releases it’s comforting to know these issues will be fixed pretty quickly.

Therefore, owners of the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 interested at flashing the custom ROM can now download the nightlies from the CyanogenMod website and proceed to pass their bug report to the developers, as to help the development of the most stable build. Happy flashing!
